Cathy Clarke Crone - the Royle School 2nd Grade Time Capsule
I went to Royle Kindergarten through 6th - I can't remember my Kindergarten teacher's name, but I had Mrs. Meyer in 1st grade, I loved her and Mrs. Corker in 2nd. I lived on Highland Ave. on the corner across from the old Town Hall. We were one block off the Post Rd.
By the way, do you remember the time capsule at Royle? We placed a time capsule in the building - I think in 76. We were in Corker's class. I think we all voted to put some sesame finger puppets in there. My sister & I got in contact with them a while back, because they had instructions from Mr. Keating to open it in the year 2001. We haven't heard how it went, but they had a big ceremony. He had invited us to attend - but it was right after 9/11 so we were not big on flying then. Mr. Keating has passed away - so sad. Thanks for the flashbacks - I'll let you know if I find a class photo. I'll have to scan it & send it on to you. What a small world!
