Cathy Clarke Crone Update
Andy -
Wow Andy - this is really cool! Great job.I thought I'd give an update as well - I moved to Monroe CT in 83 so I missed out on DHS graduation but grew up in Darien, attending Royle Elementary & Middlesex JH. I grew up on Highland Ave. and had a great neighborhood full of kids! Of course all the kids my age were boys - but we did manage to have some good times. My neighbors from the class of 87 were Greg Crawford, Gavin Cotter, Mike & John Sharpe.
Graduated in 87 at Masuk HS in Monroe and attended Sacred Heart University part-time while working full-time (wasn't sure college was for me - then I got hooked!) I worked at Chesebrough-Ponds in Trumbull for 5 years - had a great career there but it was taking too long p/t to go to college.
I moved to SC in 93 and attended the USCS and graduated magna-cum laude w/ a BA in Elementary Ed. Teaching jobs in 96 were few & far between so back to the business world I went and landed in Marketing about 8 yrs ago. Absolutely love it! I am the Dir of Database Mktg for IMI, a high-end luxury real estate firm. So many of you successful grads may just be my clientele! Please let me know if you are interested - this is not timeshare but whole ownership in great resort locations worldwide - right now we're working on a new project in Tahoe, coming soon in Colorado (Aspen), Houston TX, All over Florida, SC & NC Mountains & Anguilla - soon to be Turks & Caicos as well. We also ventured a new Residential division and just sold out a downtown Philadelphia Condo Complex, MetroClub, in a day! We handle all the marketing and sales for high-end developers so they can focus on what they do best. Can you tell I love my job?
Anyway, after moving to SC, my high-school sweetheart tracked me down - knew he couldn't live without me (boy, I just love telling the story!) and moved to SC and proposed. We married in 95 back in NY at my Dad's country house, Casa de Campo. We have 2 boys, Trevor age 6 and Parker age 2.
Frank, my husband, is a Police Officer in our town. He loves it and because of his crazy 12 hr. schedule, he is able to be home with our boys 2-3 days during the week. We have a great life - and if you all could see the house we have here for the money you would die! It would go for well over a Million in Darien! Gosh, I love the south. Anyway, we miss the people and the snow, but we love our life here in Greenville. Its becoming quite the melting pot - so many different people from different areas of the country. If you're ever nearby, drop a line and we'll meet up.
People I'm searching for: -My neighborhood guys (see above) -Margie Benzenburg -Katie Wendt -Quigley Raliegh - forward contact info! We were born a day apart & our Mom's remember each other from Greenwich Hospital. Would love an update Quigley!
