I had my first child in January. Charles James Hughes (Charlie) was born on 1-22-05. He came a little early so we spent a few weeks in the NICU, but all is well now. He just turned 6 months and is now 15lbs. I have attached a picture for you.



I married Danny Hughes from Brockton, Massachusetts last year! We got married, had a baby and bought a house in Darien all in one year - oh yeah, and the Red Sox won (prob the most important event for him being from Boston !) We just moved to 722 Hollow Tree in Darien April 1st. My husband is in Institutional Mortgage Sales at Morgan Stanley and I do the same at Merrill Lynch (where I have been for 12 years). The commute has been an adjustment, but we love coming home to a house and a yard. I keep in touch with Amy Waters Youkilis who lives in the Boston area with her two sons, Ben and Will. I see Astrid Kleinbeck Peters (and cute little Alexander) around town. I speak with Julie Sturmak Kettell daily and see her all the time. She lives with her husband Keith in Atlanta.

Only July 16, 2005 David (Rocky) Genovese (class of 85) threw a large fund raising party at his lovely home in Darien to raise money for the Darien Main Street Program and Darien Revitalization effort. There were lots of familiar Darien Alumni faces such as Jim Kellogg, Trev Spain, Brad Elders, Ward Glassmeyer and more.

The newsletter is incredible. I was just laughing at loud on the trading desk reading all the updates. Can't wait for the reunion and let me know if there will be any smaller reunions in Darien…
